The Lowlands Whisky region covers the south of Scotland, from the English border to the Highlands in the north. Although the Lowlands covers a relatively large area, it’s home to only five distilleries.
Lowland whiskies offer light, delicate flavours that include grass, honeysuckle, cream, ginger, toffee, toast, and cinnamon. They are a great way to try malt whisky for the first time.
