Since being founded in 1995, Sullivan’s Cove has grown to become one of Australias most celebrated whisky distilleries. Shining the spotlight on Australian whisky in 2014 when they were awarded Worlds best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards for their French Oak Single Malt.
Sullivans cove focus on old fashioned, single cask, single malt whisky. All produced using Tasmanian; water, malted barley and brewers, to produce their wash before double distilling in copper pot stills. And typically aging in American Oak ex-Bourbon or French Oak ex-Tawny barrels for 9-18 years.
The distillery is continually releasing new expressions, for example, their American Oak Tawny, not to mention a couple of their intriguing Brandies.
